Stellia è una cuffia aderente ed estremamente dinamica che non scende a compromessi nonostante il suo design chiuso - a mio parere una delle migliori cuffie chiuse con un piacevole aumento dei bassi e una leggera riduzione degli alti, con cui è possibile ascoltare a lungo senza stancarsi.

Una delle migliori cuffie chiuse
A mio parere, lo Stellia fa semplicemente tutto bene. Si presenta in una confezione lussuosa, con una robusta custodia da viaggio. Grazie alla sua morbida pelle, si modella delicatamente sulla testa e offre un buon isolamento dal mondo e dal suo rumore di fondo. Grazie alla messa a punto del suono, combina divertimento, un elevato livello di dettaglio e un ascolto prolungato e senza affaticamento, senza sembrare troppo invadente.
È anche molto facile da guidare - e credo che questa recensione riassuma molto bene la mia opinione su queste cuffie:

If all closed-back headphones could sound near as good as the Stellia, I’d give up on my perhaps antiquated belief that I prefer the sound of open-backed headphones. Yes, to us mere mortals, the Stellia are near absurdly expensive for a pair of headphones. However, they deliver the goods. To be considered the very best, you can justify the price tag.

What we have here is probably the best or one of the best closed-back headphones money could buy. There are perhaps one or two that could perhaps compete with the Focal Stellia but be ready to dig even deeper into your bank account. The Focal Stellia has a stellar look and does so many things audibly well with such good sound quality that it is gonna be hard to beat them.
Of the three I compared which is my favorite? The Utopias of course but they are the most costly and if they are within your budget get them. The second spot would go to the Stellia because of where they sit price-wise, performance-wise and they are right where they belong. Performance justifies the prices on all three.
The Focal Stellia is in one word stellar. A closed back that does so many things right is hard to come by and I would say almost impossible but Focal pulled it off. For my last few words in this review, I would like to say and direct the words to the entire Focal staff, ‘félicitations pour la fabrication d’un super casque’. Well done.

Che cosa significa?
La linea nera rappresenta quella che potrebbe essere definita la curva "ideale" di come dovrebbe suonare una cuffia. L'Harman Research Group ha condotto una serie di studi scientifici sull'audio e sulla sua percezione da parte dell'uomo; uno di questi era: come dovrebbe suonare una cuffia per essere apprezzata dalla maggioranza delle persone, indipendentemente dall'età o da altre variabili demografiche? Questo risultato è chiamato target Harman.
Da sinistra a destra abbiamo i sub-bassi, i bassi, i medi e poi la curva si inclina verso l'alto dove iniziano gli alti: questa parte dello spettro di frequenze viene amplificata naturalmente dalla forma dell'orecchio umano.
Questa cuffia offre un po' di bassi per divertimento, ma scende a 150-200Hz, abbastanza presto per avere un suono incisivo, non gonfio. Nella regione degli acuti, la cuffia risale e rimane leggermente al di sotto della curva Harman, in modo da fornire un dettaglio sufficiente per sentire tutto, senza però affaticare durante le lunghe sessioni di ascolto. Molto ben fatto.
