Local playback music library

Eversolo Music Library not only delivers excellent local playback performance, it also makes music management far more engaging. It can add files from local drives or network storage and automatically fetch metadata from the cloud to build a tailored library by matching artists, albums, local CUE files and more. Tracks are displayed by genre, album, artist and sample rate. Create favorite lists and search by album, artist or song initials.

Multiple network protocols

In addition to two high-speed USB 3.0 ports and an SSD slot for local expansion, the DMP-A8 supports NFS, SMB v1/v2/v3 and UPnP. This allows browsing and playback of media stored on NAS or network drives within the same gigabit LAN. Even high-bitrate DSD512 files can be played smoothly.

CD playback & ripping

The DMP-A8 supports CD playback via an external optical USB drive. The CD Rip app uses data validation and error correction to save audio data losslessly. It intelligently matches album and track names (officially released CDs required), rips tracks losslessly, and automatically generates album and artist information.

Digital filters

The DMP-A8 DAC settings offer seven types of digital filters with different voicings, switchable to suit your personal preferences.

Efficient media management

Handle copy, paste, cut and delete tasks seamlessly on both local storage and network shares. The configurable USB-OTG port lets you connect your PC and the DMP-A8 via USB for easy local file transfers and management. The internal SMB sharing feature can also turn your connected mobile device or internal SSD into a hub for sharing media files across the LAN.

Smart control app & Roon Ready

Full remote control of playback and device settings — or browse your library while something else is playing. Screen mirroring is supported as well.
