After the SR-1a, there probably was a thought: What if we offer our ribbon driver, but in the shape of a regular ol' headphone?

But of course, this idea was quickly modified into what we have before us today: There are earpads, and they go around your ear, but to not lose any of the upper treble qualities and resolution, they don't have any reflective material on them - they are purely made out of acoustic foam.

And the headphone comes with 2 versions of that: 1 set completely closed, for better seal and emphasis in the bass region, and 1 set with air gaps in between to have more treble and less bass.
