Compact high-end R2R DAC with discrete balanced design, Class-A output and 32-bit / 768 kHz PCM & DSD256 support. Pure, detailed and musical sound.
compact, precise, uncompromising
The LAiV Harmony µDAC is a compact high-end R-2R DAC with a fully discrete, balanced topology and a Class A output stage. Built for demanding audiophiles, it combines cutting-edge 32-bit/768 kHz PCM and native DSD256 processing with outstanding musicality and precision—inside an ultra-compact chassis.
Discrete R-2R architecture
Like its bigger sibling, the µDAC is built around a fully balanced R-2R design using precise 0.05% resistors for a natural, dynamic, highly detailed presentation. It supports PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz and native DSD256—ideal for high-end sources and purist signal paths.
Clock optimization
An Accusilicon AS318 femtosecond oscillator with ultra-low phase noise ensures accurate timing and precise detail retrieval. Via the external clock input, a master clock signal can be fed in—perfect for demanding studio or reference setups.
Class A output stage
The discrete Class A stage ensures optimal impedance matching and minimal signal loss. The result: a warm, analog-like, spacious sound with exceptional purity, dynamics, and musical naturalness.
Galvanic isolation & connectivity
Digital and analog sections are galvanically isolated to reduce noise and eliminate ground loops. The µDAC provides USB-B, Toslink, SPDIF coax, I²S (HDMI), Clock-In, and balanced XLR outputs—all housed in a premium, ultra-compact aluminum chassis.
