Compact high-end R2R DAC with discrete balanced design, Class-A output and 32-bit / 768 kHz PCM & DSD256 support. Pure, detailed and musical sound.
The LAiV Harmony µDAC is a compact high-end R2R DAC with a fully discrete balanced design and Class-A output stage. Crafted for discerning audiophiles, it combines 32-bit/768 kHz PCM and DSD256 decoding with exceptional musicality, detail and build quality in a remarkably small form factor.
Sharing the same balanced R-2R topology as the larger Harmony DAC, the µDAC uses 0.05 % precision resistors to ensure accurate conversion and lifelike sound reproduction. Supports PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD256 natively for the most demanding high-resolution sources.
An Accusilicon AS318 femtosecond oscillator with ultra-low phase noise delivers exceptional timing precision. An external master clock input further enhances accuracy and integration within studio or reference systems.
The pure Class-A discrete output stage provides ideal impedance matching and effortless drive. The result is warm, smooth and transparent sound with outstanding dynamics and musical realism.
Digital and analogue stages are galvanically isolated to eliminate noise and ground loops. Connections include USB-B, Toslink, SPDIF coaxial, I²S (HDMI), Clock-In and balanced XLR outputs — all housed in a refined aluminium chassis.
