NEO iDSD 2

Headphone amp. Desktop amp. Hi-Fi amp.

NEO iDSD 2 is a versatile 3-in-1 DAC/amp built for CAS audiophiles. Use it as a headphone DAC/amp, a pure DAC with an integrated amplifier, or as a DAC/preamp for active speakers and power amplifiers. With Bluetooth 5.4, it supports aptX Lossless — the only Bluetooth codec that transmits CD quality without quality loss.

New and lossless

Equipped with Qualcomm’s new QCC518x Bluetooth chip and certified for Bluetooth 5.4, NEO iDSD 2 supports all major Bluetooth formats: aptX Lossless, aptX Adaptive, aptX, LDAC, HWA/LHDC, AAC, and SBC. With aptX Lossless it delivers an impressive 1,200 kbps bitrate, transmitting CD quality without lossy compression for a superior listening experience.

Flexible placement — horizontal or vertical

NEO iDSD 2 offers flexible positioning for desktop or hi-fi setups, with a 2-inch color display that automatically adapts to horizontal or vertical orientation. For desktop use, you can stand it upright to save space. NEO iDSD 2 also features an analog volume control, which can deliver higher audio quality than digital attenuation.

GMT femto precision clock — upgradable

NEO iDSD 2 includes an internal GMT femto precision clock with an intelligent memory cache, forming an advanced jitter-reduction system for clearer, more accurate sound. For users with an external clock source, the 10 MHz external sync clock input lets NEO iDSD 2 synchronize with devices like CD players or network streamers to further improve timing accuracy.

This rare feature in its price class ensures exceptional performance, whether using the internal or an external sync clock.

More than new features — improved circuitry

The upgraded PureWave circuit design of NEO iDSD 2 features a balanced dual-mono topology and short signal paths for excellent linearity, low noise, and minimal distortion.

This results in a signal-to-noise ratio of >120 dB(A), a dynamic range of -120 dB(A), and THD+N of <0.0015% — performance comparable with far more expensive DACs.

5× headphone output power

With a maximum headphone output power of 5,551 mW (@ 32Ω), it outperforms even some dedicated headphone amplifiers. It features Auto iEMatch to reduce hiss with highly sensitive headphones without compromising dynamic range.

NEO iDSD 2 is not only powerful — it’s tunable. Newly added analog processing modes XSpace and XBass II, plus four digital filters, let you fine-tune the sound to your taste.
