Aeolus [é∙o∙los] is known as "the divine keeper of the winds” in Greek mythology and is our answer to those wanting an open-back version of the Atticus.

Providing the soundstage of an open headphone, the Aeolus retains the most celebrated aspects of the Atticus and adds its own deft touch. Utilizing our TPE membrane driver grants the Aeolus incredibly dynamic movement, adding space and linearity.

Launched in 2018 as ZMF’s second open-back headphone, the Aeolus has continued to win the hearts of audiophiles worldwide for its soft, pleasant, and inviting presentation. Often described as a “super-HD650,” especially when paired with suede pads, the Aeolus combines musical warmth with refinement.

It was one of the first open-back headphones to deliver true extension into the deepest bass frequencies, offering an experience that is both engaging and full-bodied.
