Crafted in an elegant stainless-steel chassis with artificially aged wooden side panels, Medousa impresses at first glance. The real sophistication, however, is on the inside.
Its gain stage features a high-quality dual-triode tube, which can be upgraded to an even more ambitious option if desired. This is followed by a solid-state current buffer. Four monoblock modules maximize symmetry across all four channels. Medousa adapts to the load—whether low- or high-impedance headphones—keeping output power nearly identical.
With linearity extending far beyond the audible band, music gains depth and turns into a fresh, lively presentation. For best performance, fully balanced operation is recommended, while the versatile I/O also supports single-ended inputs and outputs.
