Compact fully balanced headphone amplifier with legendary Violectric sound

The Violectric HPA V222 is a new, fully balanced headphone amplifier with four true output stages — not just balanced connectors. Built on the award-winning HPA V200 and HPA V280 platforms, it delivers the unmistakably natural and pleasantly precise sound that made its predecessors famous.

Technology highlights

  • Ultra-low noise: very low internal gain makes self-noise practically inaudible.
  • High output voltage: ±50 V internal operating voltage — ideal for high-impedance headphones.
  • High output power: huge power reserves, even for low-impedance and planar-magnetic models.
  • High damping factor: extremely low output impedance for linear frequency response and perfect control.

The rear line inputs can be conveniently selected via front-panel switches. After the RK27 volume control, the activated, buffered signal is fed to the output stages — a further development of the famous V200 circuit.
