Final Audio D8000 with AFDS technology blends planar precision and deep bass in a masterpiece of Japanese headphone engineering.
With the development of AFDS (Air Film Damping System), Final has reinvented the planar magnetic driver. The Final Audio D8000 combines the extended low-end of dynamic headphones with the detail and precision of planar designs – offering a natural, lifelike listening experience.
The Air Film Damping System precisely controls diaphragm motion using a thin layer of air, preventing contact with the magnets. This enables deep, open bass even in an open-back design. The ultra-light aluminium diaphragm – about one-third the mass of conventional dynamic drivers – ensures exceptional treble speed and detail.
The open earpads, made of highly breathable foam and specialized fibers, allow bass extension with natural spaciousness and long-term comfort. The D8000 delivers the warmth and air of live music in a fatigue-free design.
Built from a magnesium-aluminium alloy chassis with exceptional precision and damping control, every D8000 is hand-assembled in Kawasaki, Japan. Each part is modular and replaceable, ensuring long-term serviceability and enduring performance.
Includes two detachable OFC cables: 1.5 m with 3.5 mm plug and 3 m with 6.3 mm plug, both featuring a locking mechanism. A masterpiece of Japanese acoustic engineering, redefining planar listening standards.
