Dynamic Headphone – HEDD Audio HEDDphone D1
The HEDDphone D1 is HEDD’s new dynamic interpretation of reference listening. Designed in Berlin for creators and demanding audiophiles, it combines uncompromising material choices with extremely low distortion and a sound signature that aims for truth, not hype or colour.
Its core is the Thin-Ply Carbon Diaphragm Technology (TPCD) – an ultra-light carbon laminate that achieves precise resonance control without additional damping materials. This enables exceptional clarity, micro-detail and tonal neutrality.

Thin-Ply Carbon Diaphragm
The diaphragm is manufactured in Sweden by Composite Sound and uses a composite also found in Formula One and aerospace programs. Its stiffness-to-weight ratio is extraordinary – enabling fast, linear movement even at higher excursion.
The result: fast transient response, no damping artefacts, no smearing of micro-detail.
Neutral Sound, Realistic Delivery
The D1 delivers a neutral, detailed and believable tonal balance. Bass is deep but never exaggerated, treble is refined without harshness, and vocals remain natural and grounded.
With 32 ohm impedance and 100 dB sensitivity it works with most playback chains – and scales clearly with higher-end amplification.
Comfort & Longevity
The ergonomic design distributes pressure evenly for long sessions. Construction is serviceable – this is built to last, not to be thrown away.
Hand-built in Berlin
The carbon diaphragm is manufactured in Sweden – final assembly and tuning are done by hand in Berlin. HEDD offers a 5-year warranty.
