HiFiMAN HE1000 WiFi: Reference planar headphone with WiFi streaming, built-in DAC and amplifier – high-end audio without a traditional setup.
Reference-class sound – reimagined for wireless listening
With the HE1000 WiFi, HiFiMAN translates one of its most established high-end concepts into a new form. Instead of relying on a traditional chain of components, a complete system is integrated directly into the headphone.
At its core is a WiFi-based signal architecture, deliberately avoiding the typical limitations of Bluetooth. The higher bandwidth enables lossless, high-resolution playback, bringing the experience closer to a desktop setup than to conventional wireless solutions.
An integrated DAC and headphone amplifier handle the entire signal path internally. This results in a significantly reduced setup, without external components.
The foundation remains the established HE1000 planar platform: fast, precise, and known for its expansive, open soundstage.
The HE1000 WiFi bridges two worlds: reference sound and immediate usability.
Context
The HE1000 has long been part of traditional high-end chains. With the WiFi version, HiFiMAN shifts this concept into a more direct form — not as a simplification, but as a refinement.
Using WiFi as the primary transmission path allows for a level of signal integrity that moves noticeably closer to wired setups.
Combined with the established driver platform, the result feels less like a wireless headphone and more like an integrated high-end system.
