The Rockna Wavedream DAC is among the most uncompromising digital-to-analog converters available today. Designed and manufactured in Romania, it is built around a fully proprietary architecture combining FPGA-based signal processing with a discrete R2R conversion stage.

At its core lies an extremely sophisticated digital engine featuring high-frequency asynchronous input processing (560 MHz) and a memory-based PLL with an ultra-low 300 femtoseconds of jitter. The result is a remarkably stable, natural, and highly resolved sound.

Rockna’s custom digital filters (linear, minimum and hybrid phase) operate with exceptional mathematical precision (68-bit) and advanced convolution algorithms — far beyond typical DAC implementations.

In its Signature version, the Wavedream reaches true reference-level measurements while maintaining a rare sense of musicality — making it one of the most compelling high-end DACs available.
