The A6 Gen 2, refined for an even quieter noise floor

The Eversolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 shares its chassis, screen and core architecture with the regular DMP-A6 Gen 2 – but has been reworked internally in exactly the places where extra effort actually translates into a measurably cleaner sound.

The dual-mono ES9038Q2M conversion section gains its own isolated, individually regulated linear supplies per channel in the Master Edition, plus high-precision femtosecond oscillators to cut jitter. The analogue output stage has been retuned with lower-noise transistors and more carefully selected parts – the result is a noticeably calmer overall character, without changing the A6 Gen 2's core architecture or connections.

Mechanically Eversolo has raised the bar too: improved thermal management, new decoupling for the digital sub-boards, and a further refined CNC aluminium chassis available in black or silver. Feature set, connectivity (XLR/RCA, HDMI, USB, optical, coaxial), streaming services and the Eversolo Control app match the standard model exactly.

For those willing to pay the Master Edition premium, this is the most capable A6 chassis in the range – noticeably more affordable than the DMP-A8 Gen 2, but with clearly more headroom than the regular DMP-A6 Gen 2. Anyone after even more performance still has the A8 or A10 series to move up to.
