Mass-Kobo: hand-built headphone amplifiers from Japan

Mass-Kobo builds its amplifiers by hand in Japan, and every unit is personally checked by Mr Masuda, the founder and designer. The Model 491 headphone amplifier, successor to the Model 465, uses a twin-balanced monoblock layout with four independent amplifier stages and separate power supplies for the left and right channels.
