A pure streaming transport for your external DAC

The Eversolo T8 is a pure streaming transport – no analogue output of its own, but a digital output section engineered for maximum signal purity into a downstream external DAC. A natural match for the Eversolo DAC-Z10, for instance.

At its core is an isolated I²S output over HDMI with eight selectable modes for broad DAC compatibility, plus a galvanically isolated, fully balanced AES/EBU output (XLR) for long cable runs and two isolated coaxial and optical outputs. The USB and I²S outputs natively support DSD512 and PCM up to 768 kHz/32-bit, while the remaining digital interfaces cover PCM up to 192 kHz/24-bit and DoP64.

Powered by an ARM quad-core processor with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of eMMC storage, the T8 connects via Wi-Fi 6, Gigabit Ethernet and an SFP fibre port for a galvanically isolated network connection – the Wi-Fi module can be disabled entirely, at which point the remote automatically switches to infrared mode. Two internal SSD slots (up to 2×8 TB) allow for a large local library, while a 6-inch touchscreen and the Eversolo Control app handle day-to-day operation.

Anyone wanting an even more capable version with a larger screen, OCXO clocking and a 10 MHz input should look at the Eversolo T10. Anyone who'd rather have streamer and DAC combined in one box is better served by the DMP-A series – the T8 remains the specialist for anyone who already owns a quality external DAC.
