The best-rated deck of the range in the German press

The Giglio sits between the Pianosa and the Mediterraneo, and it is the best-rated Gold Note deck in the German press. It is the first in the range whose platter is 33 mm of extra-dense POM rather than vinyl – a material offering more mass with less resonance of its own.

The platter runs on a 5 mm tungsten ball bearing, combined with the patented Split-Spindle clamp at the platter spindle. Rumble measures −78 dB, one decibel better than the Pianosa.

The pulley is ground to an hourglass profile so the belt centres itself instead of wandering. The B-5.1 arm is standard, the B-7 Ceramic an upgrade. No cartridge is included.
