Gold Note
Gold Note designs and builds in Tuscany, a few kilometres from Florence. Its turntables combine solid Italian walnut plinths with in-house tonearms and the patented Split-Spindle clamp at the platter spindle. Cartridges are not included: MM types work with virtually any phono input, while MC types need considerably more gain and a suitable loading impedance. Many phono stages switch between the two, but by no means all.
