The Eversolo DMP-A10 is the flagship of the entire DMP series: streamer, high-resolution converter, digital transport and fully balanced preamp with two headphone outputs, all in a single, elaborately machined aluminium chassis.

At its centre sits the prestigious ESS ES9039PRO with HyperStream IV architecture, driven by an XMOS XU316 audio processor. That lets the A10 reach a THD+N of just −122 dB, together with a signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range both above 130 dB – figures usually reserved for reference electronics well beyond this price point. Playback covers PCM up to 768 kHz/32-bit and native DSD512, controlled via a 6.5-inch touchscreen.

The fully balanced preamp delivers up to +10 dB of analogue gain through a precise R2R volume control and offers, besides XLR and RCA outputs, two subwoofer outputs as well. On the digital side the A10 connects via Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, SFP fibre and Bluetooth 5.0 – plus two M.2 NVMe slots for a large local music library and native support for Roon Ready, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, WebDAV, UPnP and DLNA.

Anyone wanting to pair the A10's conversion and preamp performance with an even more capable transport should look at the Eversolo T10. Anyone after a somewhat more compact and affordable unit with a comparable philosophy will find the right alternative in the DMP-A8 Gen 2 or its Master Edition – but the A10 remains the undisputed reference in the Eversolo range.
