The HP-10 with Bluetooth HD aptX for wireless connectivity
The Gold Note HP-10 BT carries over the HP-10's full feature set – discrete Class-A circuitry, balanced dual-mono design, XLR and RCA I/O, plus four headphone outputs – and adds Bluetooth HD with aptX on top. That means the HP-10 BT can also be driven wirelessly from a phone, tablet or laptop, without giving up anything of the underlying sonic philosophy.
As on the HP-10, four Crossfeed settings, three Harman target curves, two damping-factor settings, selectable gain and Balance/Superflat via the graphic touchscreen allow fine-tuning to virtually any headphone. The wired inputs and outputs (XLR, RCA, four headphone jacks) remain fully intact – Bluetooth is an added option, not a replacement.
As with the HP-10, the optional external PSU-10 EVO power supply can be added later for even greater dynamics and a quieter signal background. It's available, like the HP-10, in brushed aluminium in Black, Silver or Gold.
Within the model hierarchy, the HP-10 BT sits between the purely wired HP-10 and the HP-10 Deluxe: for anyone who wants to listen wirelessly now and then but doesn't need the Deluxe model's extra USB-C input and AKM DAC, this is the fitting middle step.
