ZMF Auteur Pads are designed for balance, natural tonality, and control. They are the ideal choice for listeners who want a realistic and uncolored presentation – without exaggeration, but with musical flow.

Natural and Balanced

Auteur Pads sit exactly between the Eikon and Universe Pads in terms of sound. They avoid both excessive warmth and overly wide staging, instead offering a balanced and natural tonal presentation.

Vocals and instruments sound lifelike and unforced, making these pads particularly well-suited for acoustic music, vocals, and long listening sessions.

Control and Precision

Bass remains tight and controlled without artificial emphasis. At the same time, clear mids and refined treble provide a precise yet smooth overall presentation.

The slightly angled design supports stable imaging and a realistic sense of space.

Sound Tuning by Material

In our shop these pads are currently available in perforated lambskin; other materials on request. ZMF’s rule of thumb: lambskin sounds warmer and slightly peakier, suede more neutral, and hybrid pads sit in between.

Comfort & Build

Constructed with high-density memory foam and premium materials, Auteur Pads offer excellent comfort and even pressure distribution – ideal for extended, focused listening sessions.
