ZMF Universe Pads

ZMF Universe Pads are designed for openness, space, and a more expansive presentation. They are the ideal choice if you want to give your headphones a wider soundstage, more air, and a more natural sense of scale.

More Space, More Air

ZMF calls the Universe its most universally compatible pad: a touch flat, a touch angled, neither too thin nor too thick. On the Auteur Classic it is the brighter, more open alternative to the stock Auteur pads, and the Atrium Open ships with it.

Instruments are placed more freely in space, making complex recordings easier to follow and more immersive overall.

Long-Term Comfort

Like all ZMF pads, the Universe Pads use high-density memory foam combined with premium materials such as lambskin, perforated lambskin, or suede. The pad distributes pressure evenly, ensuring excellent comfort even during extended listening sessions.

The slightly angled design further enhances both fit and overall listening comfort.

Sound Tuning by Material

In our shop these pads are currently available in perforated lambskin; other materials on request. ZMF’s rule of thumb: lambskin sounds warmer and slightly peakier, suede more neutral, and hybrid pads sit in between.

Compatibility

ZMF Universe Pads are compatible with many large over-ear headphones, especially models from ZMF, Audeze, and Hifiman. The flexible mounting system allows for easy installation and a secure fit.
