The Gold Note HP-10 is built on the same foundation as the smaller HP-5.2 – discrete Class-A amplification in a balanced dual-mono layout – but raises the execution to genuine high-end level: a larger chassis, a finer finish, and more headroom for demanding headphones. Gold Note offers the HP-10 in brushed aluminium in Black, Silver or Gold, so it can visually match a wide range of systems.

As with the HP-5.2, XLR and RCA inputs plus balanced and unbalanced line outputs are on board, complemented by four headphone outputs (6.3mm, 3.5mm, balanced 4.4mm, balanced 4-pin XLR). The graphic touchscreen lets you tailor four Crossfeed settings, three Harman target curves, two damping-factor settings, plus gain and Balance/Superflat – dialling the headphone sound in precisely for whatever model you're driving.

The key difference from the HP-5.2 lies in its upgrade path: the HP-10 is designed for the optional external PSU-10 EVO power supply, which unlocks an even quieter background and greater dynamic reserves. That makes the HP-10 the clear choice for anyone who wants to start with a high-quality chain that can grow over time.

Within Gold Note's headphone line-up, the HP-10 sits between the compact HP-5.2 and the HP-10 BT and HP-10 Deluxe variants: for anyone who can do without Bluetooth and wants the purest, wired Class-A signal path instead, this base version is the ideal fit.
