The Bravura Headphone
Bravura is built around a proprietary concept: an HPEL electrostatic transducer with an extreme bias voltage, engineered for control, resolution, and natural tone — and conceived as a complete system.
The Sonoma M1 Class-A Amplifier
The Sonoma M1 integrates the DAC as the core and uses a custom 64-bit DSP to apply a dedicated EQ curve for the Bravura — aiming for a system-level performance that’s consistently exceptional.
Alongside USB and S/PDIF, you get analog inputs (RCA and 3.5 mm). Those analog signals are not simply passed through: a high-quality ADC digitizes them, helping the system maintain a consistent sonic signature regardless of source.

What does this mean?
The line marked as target is something you could call the “ideal” curve: a target response derived from research by the Harman group, exploring what kind of headphone tuning tends to be preferred by a broad range of listeners – regardless of age or demographics. This is often referred to as the Harman Target.
From left to right you see sub-bass, bass, mids, and then the curve tilts upward where treble begins. That part of the spectrum is naturally amplified by the shape of the human ear.
Sub-bass sits far below the target – typical for open electrostatics, the bass is slightly reduced. The lower mids are neutral, the presence region around 3 kHz sits slightly below the target. The treble is clearly tuned more relaxed – never sharp, easy over long sessions, above 10 kHz it gets a little darker.
