Closed-back hi-fi headphone with 40 mm aluminium/magnesium drivers — clarity, balance, and travel-ready comfort
Azurys features aluminium/magnesium “M”-shaped dome drivers, developed by Focal’s acoustic specialists and manufactured in their workshops in France. The combination of these two materials delivers exceptionally clear, precise sound.

Genuine leather on the headband, breathable braided textile, and memory-foam earpads provide strong isolation and outstanding comfort. The magnesium yoke keeps weight low and ensures an excellent fit — a perfect choice for music lovers on the go.
Inspired by azurite, a semi-precious stone known for healing properties, Azurys’ blue finish feels both modern and magnetic. Its elegant look is further enhanced by Focal’s unmistakable design language.

The line marked as target is something you could call the “ideal” curve: a target response derived from research by the Harman group, exploring what kind of headphone tuning tends to be preferred by a broad range of listeners – regardless of age or demographics. This is often referred to as the Harman Target.
From left to right you see sub-bass, bass, mids, and then the curve tilts upward where treble begins. That part of the spectrum is naturally amplified by the shape of the human ear.
These headphones are tuned for two things: neutrality and a pinch of fun. You won’t miss any bass, and the treble is by no means neglected — very well-balanced overall.
