Engineered for those who know exactly what they want
The HEDDphone TWO UNPLUGGED Edition delivers the same reference-grade performance as the standard version. Powered by HEDD’s unique full-range Air Motion Transformer (AMT) technology, it is intentionally supplied without a cable.
Designed for experienced users and audiophiles who already own their preferred cables, this version eliminates redundancy. No compromises, no simplifications — just the headphone itself in its most direct and uncompromised form.
The UNPLUGGED Edition is ready to integrate seamlessly into your existing setup — on your terms.
After three years of intensive development — shaped by continuous community feedback — every aspect of the HEDDphone® has been reworked. The result is a headphone that delivers a new level of flexibility, comfort, and sonic precision.
The HEDDphone® TWO features ultra-lightweight materials and an improved headband system that allows independent adjustment of height, width, curvature, and clamping force. The Air Motion Transformer has also been further refined to deliver an even more vivid and realistic sound reproduction.
The result: lighter, more ergonomic, more adaptable — and sonically elevated once again.

Frequency response
The line marked as target is something you could call the “ideal” curve: a target response derived from research by the Harman group, exploring what kind of headphone tuning tends to be preferred by a broad range of listeners – regardless of age or demographics. This is often referred to as the Harman Target.
From left to right you see sub-bass, bass, mids, and then the curve tilts upward where treble begins. That part of the spectrum is naturally amplified by the shape of the human ear.
Sub-bass sits far below the target – common for open headphones, the Harman target includes a strong bass shelf, the bass follows the target curve. The lower mids are neutral, the presence region around 3 kHz sits slightly below the target. The treble is strongly tuned more relaxed – never sharp, easy over long sessions, above 10 kHz there is a little extra air. Left and right channels track each other closely, a sign of careful driver matching.
