Shibata on boron – turns any 2M Bronze or Black into an LVB 250
Everything that separates the LVB 250 from the 2M Black is in this unit: the boron cantilever. Generator, body and coils are identical across Bronze, Black and LVB 250. If you own any of those bodies, this stylus gives you the complete LVB 250 – Holger Barske described it exactly so in LP Magazin.
Boron is lighter and stiffer than aluminium and transmits the diamond’s movement with less resonance of its own. Hi-Fi News measured a clear improvement in tracking ability over the Black stylus.
