ZMF Bokeh Closed LTD Zebrawood
The closed Bokeh in a limited wood edition
Limited edition, available while ZMF makes it. ZMF builds every pair to your configuration in Chicago; delivery takes about 6–10 weeks. The grain and colour of the wood vary from piece to piece and from the photos.
For this LTD edition ZMF makes the closed cups of the Bokeh Closed from Zebrawood. Zebrawood grows in the rainforests of West Africa. Its bold striping resembles a zebra’s coat and is different on every pair. The closed shape shows the striping across the whole cup.
The LTD is built on the newly redesigned Bokeh chassis. You choose a leather or a vegan suede headband.
Technology and tuning come from the Bokeh Closed: an 80 Ω driver with an LCP (liquid crystal polymer) diaphragm and the Atrium Damping System, which gives the closed Bokeh a surprisingly open stage. At ~103 dB/mW it already plays well from portable devices and shows more on a good amplifier.
It comes with Caldera pads installed, top-perforated only: Hybrid Thin or suede. For a surcharge there is the tuning kit (protein, suede, Solid Titan Mesh), single extra pads or just the mesh. The cable has jack plugs at the headphone end; you choose the amplifier plug: 3.5 mm, 4.4 mm, 6.35 mm or 4-pin XLR.
