ZMF Bokeh Open LTD Zebrawood
The open Bokeh in a limited wood edition
Limited edition, available while ZMF makes it. ZMF builds every pair to your configuration in Chicago; delivery takes about 6–10 weeks. The grain and colour of the wood vary from piece to piece and from the photos.
For this LTD edition ZMF makes the cups of the Bokeh Open from Zebrawood. Zebrawood grows in the rainforests of West Africa. Its bold striping resembles a zebra’s coat and is different on every pair. The grilles are solid stained curly maple, backed with blue cloth.
The LTD is built on the newly redesigned Bokeh chassis. You choose a leather or a vegan suede headband.
Technology and tuning come from the Bokeh Open: an 80 Ω driver with an LCP (liquid crystal polymer) diaphragm and the Atrium Damping System tuned for the open design. At ~103 dB/mW it already runs from a laptop or portable player and gains further on a good amplifier.
It comes with Caldera Ultra Perf pads installed, hybrid (protein/suede) or suede. For a surcharge there is the tuning kit with all pads and Solid Titan Mesh, single extra pads or just the mesh. The cable has jack plugs at the headphone end; you choose the amplifier plug: 3.5 mm, 4.4 mm, 6.35 mm or 4-pin XLR.
